Dottorato in Neuroscienze e Scienze Cognitive

General Info

The Neural and Cognitive Sciences Ph.D. program is a historical doctoral course of the University of Trieste and unique in the North-East of Italy. Its actual organization derives from the fusion of two originally separated courses, one in Neuroscience and one in Cognitive Sciences, with the aim of integrating, in a multidisciplinary perspective, the study of the central and peripheric nervous system and the cognitive functions, from the basic functioning to the applications in various fields (clinical, social, ergonomic and sports). Students attending this program can be in contact with different approaches and professionals and can develop competencies in the study and the research of the mind/brain relation and its applications, a quality that makes the Doctors of Philosophy competitive in the placement.
